Low tunings and guitar strings.?

I have Dean Markley Hendrix strings, NPS-REG. Can I still tune as low as drop C with these strings?

depends on the string size your best bet for a drop c is to try to get some size 11-50 that is what i suggest... reason is string 46 is too small for that... the small strings will be to loose when you tune them so low... they will not sound right when you press the note the note will change cause the string is too small.. size 9-46 good for standard or e flat... when you start going lower you need to get heavy strings
